- be printed on each page for Epson, NEC & Prowriter printers. For
- the SMM804 & Gemini printers, it is 55 lines per page.
-
- Page 14 - The change font code does not have to be on its own
- line. However, it must be at the beginning of the line.
- For example: |0|The code followed by text is ok.

- CLARIFICATIONS
-
- When using a file created with 1st Word, if you have saved it in
- WP mode, then use the 1st Word file type when printing. If you
- have saved it without style or layout data, you can print it with
- the ASCII file type.
-
- If you want to print medium or low resolution graphics files with
- MEGAFONT ST, you can do it by first converting these files to high
- resolution. There are programs in the public domain that will
- allow you to do this. Also check ANTIC, ANALOG & START magazines
- for programs that will do resolution conversions.
-
- ADDITIONS TO MEGAFONT.PRG
-
- Pressing CONTROL and P will let you adjust the page length.
-
- CHANGES TO MEGAFONT.PRG
-
- Page 14 - The program now checks to see that there is enough room
- before printing a graphic.
-
- NEW FILES ON THE DISK
-
- SAMPLE.8X8 - Print this file out using ASCII file type. It will
- print a sample of most of the 8x8 character styles.
-
- SAMPLE.816 - Print this file out using ASCII file type. It will
- print a sample of most of the 8x16 character styles.
-
- EDIT8X16.PRG - This is a font editor for creating 8x16 fonts. The
- program runs very similarly to the 8x8 font editor. The new
- command in the 8x16 editor is "EXPAND". "EXPAND" will expand an
- 8x8 font into the 8x16 matrix.
-
- The 8x16 editor runs slightly differently in monochrome and color.
- In the monochrome version, changes to a character in the edit
- window will appear in the font window. In the color version, the
- current character being edited will appear beneath the "QUIT"
- command box. Any changes to the edit window will be seen in this
- character. The characters in the font window will not change as
- you edit. The reason for this difference is due to the different
- resolutions of the color and monochrome screens.
